If you are in the area, the bride and groom invite you to join the pre-wedding Lake Day! Weather permitting, we are planning a day of relaxing, fishing, swimming (cool temperatures), boating, and lounging at Abiquiu Lake, Friday May 16th, 2025. The water is anticipated to be cold and life-jackets are a must for swimming and water-sports. Please be aware Abiquiu has a no alcohol policy that is enforced. Those wanting to fish, please obtain a license at https://wildlife.dgf.nm.gov/.
Just next door to Abiquiú Inn,
you'll notice The O'Keeffe Welcome Center
inviting you to enjoy a Home & Studio Tour honoring the life's works of painter
Georgia O'Keeffe.
Adjacent to the Abiquiu Inn the Purple Adobe Lavender Farm is just next door. You can pick your own lavender bundles, explore their meditative labyrinth or
try unique lavender scones & gelato.
Nestled amidst the breathtaking red & yellow cliffs of the Piedra Lumbre sandstone mountains, you will find 21,000 acres of land known as Ghost Ranch. The Ranch offers workshops, hiking, horseback riding & two fascinating museums of paleontology & anthropology.
Only 35 minutes Northeast of Abiquiu, Ojo Caliente is one of the only hot springs spas on Earth featuring all four healing minerals: Arsenic, Lithia, Soda and Iron in naturally sulfur-free waters. Soak your soul in their nine communal hot springs, or book a private tub or massage for a truly tranquil experience.
